The frames are made of maple / wenge / purpleheart / padauk / walnut wood that has been specially treated for maximum durability and functionality, a special aluminum alloy and steel temples. The nosepads used are hypoallergenic. All frames are waterproof and contain a UV filter that protects their natural color.
